This 3 day safety induction course is mandatory for all new crew members in accordance with STCW-95 Section A-VI/1. The course meets the requirements of the South African Code of Maritime Qualifications and is accredited by SAMSA. The course is held at Unicorn Training School.
REQUIREMENTS: All candidates should have a valid Fire Fighting certificate.
ADDITIONAL: The successful candidates will be issued a certificate which will be numbered for reference. A minimum of 4 candidates are required and the fee includes notes, stationery, writing and sundry materials and a light lunch. Courses can be held by arrangement for principals to suit crew joining dates. Candidates are to bring along their ID/Passport on the 1st day of the course.
