First Aid at Sea courses, meeting the requirements of STCW-95 A-VI/4-1 and the South African Code of Maritime Qualifications, are run by a highly qualified SAMSA accredited instructor. These courses are co-ordinated by, and held at, the Unicorn Training School. The course is accredited by SAMSA and certificates are issued to successful candidates on completion.
REQUIREMENTS: Require South African Identification Book or valid passport to be brought along on the 1st day of the course.
DURATION: 5 days
A minimum of 6 candidates are required for the course and fee includes manuals, notes, stationery, writing and sundry materials, and tea or coffee during breaks and a light lunch.
