This meets the requirements of section A-IV/2 of the STCW code, and the course content and instructors are accredited by the SA Maritime Safety Authority (SAMSA). The course is co-ordinated by Unicorn Training School and held at the Durban University of Technology. The GMDSS course incorporates the competency requirements for the general & restricted operators certificates under the STCW code. Certificates will be issued to successful applicants.
