This course aims to provide knowledge to those who may be designated to perform the duties and responsibilities of a Ship Security Officer (SSO), in accordance with the Code of South African Maritime Qualifications, the Merchant Shipping (Training & Certification Regulations 1999 and the STCW Code, Section A-VI/5.
REQUIREMENTS: South African Identity Document or valid passport to be presented on day 1.
ADDITIONAL: A minimum of 4 candidates are required for the course. The fee includes manuals, notes, stationery, writing and sundry materials. Refreshments and lunch are provided whilst on course. Please notify us if there are any personal catering allergies or religious restrictions, in order for us to make the necessary arrangements.
