A mandatory course for officers and ratings prior to joining a tanker. The syllabus is in accordance with the provisions of Section A-V/1 of STCW-95 and this course has SAMSA accreditation. The course meets the requirements of the South African Code of Maritime Qualifications, the Merchant Shipping (Training And Certification) Regulations, 1999. Certificates are issued to successful candidates on completion.
REQUIREMENTS: All candidates should have a valid Fire Fighting certificate
ADDITIONAL: A minimum of 4 candidates are required for the course and the fee includes manuals, notes, stationery, refreshments, a light lunch, writing and sundry materials. Candidates to bring along ID/Passport on 1st day of course.
